Kathy earned her title of “Professional Bridal Consultant” by completing her education through the Association of Bridal Consultants in New Milford, Connecticut. She completed the Bridal Consultant Professional Development Courses with cited honors on Etiquette, Wedding Day Events, Planning and Consulting, Sales and Marketing, and Related Services such as Photography, Receptions, Florists, etc.
Kathy has experience at locations such as the Henry Ford Estate, Meadow Brook Dodge Mansion, Twin Lakes Golf Club, Addison Oaks, Orchard Lake and Bay Pointe Country Clubs, outdoor tented weddings as well as intimate home and historical site settings.
For the past 15 years, Kathy has served as the Administrative Assistant to the Magistrate of the 35th District Court in Plymouth, Michigan. She conducts initial consultations with brides and grooms and coordinates/schedules both civil and religious weddings. For 25+ years, Kathy has worked as an Executive/Administrative Assistant for organizations such as Chevrolet Motor Division, Vlassic Foods and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She has also coordinated numerous social events and functions for 100-400 guests. As an experienced Event Planner, Kathy has creative ideas and will synchronize and orchestrate every aspect of your business meeting, event, luncheon or party.
Kathy has been educated and trained in the business of weddings and event planning. She has the knowledge and experience required to select the right reception site, photographer, florist, musician, cake designer, etc. Without that expertise, people can unknowingly fall victim to dishonest suppliers that misrepresent themselves leaving a trail of unnecessary disappointments. Kathy founded Dream Wedding and Event Planners to be the vessel from which to create extraordinary events as well as wonderful and memorable wedding day experiences for brides, grooms and their extended families.
